The Hunger Games Live Nation Contest

Alliance Films, Canada's leading motion picture distributor, approached Seventyeight Digital to create a Facebook contest application where participants entered to have a chance to win a massive Live Nation Grand Prize .

Alliance's goal for the contest was to build anticipation for The Hunger Games Blu-Ray and DVD release.

In order to create a successful contest, 78 ensured:

  • Fan gating enabled Alliance to show its appreciation to its fans by limiting contest entries to only those that Like Alliance Films.
  • The contest was highly interactive with various forms of multimedia included in the contest questions each week to encourage return visitors.
  • Sharing the contest using Facebook and Twitter was prominent, inspiring friends and family to enter the contest

Seventyeight Digital showed its strength when working with multiple vendors and agencies by showing leadership and remaining organized throughout the process.

As with all projects at Seventyeight Digital the app was developed with multiple browsers, devices in mind to ensure audiences are not excluded based on their technology.
